Who’s Behind Scribizzy?

Melissa Donovan is a web-based entrepreneur who is passionate about helping others succeed. In 2007, Melissa launched Scribizzy, a copywriting service that specialized in developing web content for small businesses. In time, her flair and interest in website design worked its way into the business offerings and Scribizzy became a full-fledged internet marketing boutique.

Melissa has been writing personally and professionally for over twenty years, and she has been designing and developing websites for over fifteen years. Writing and design have been integral in her career. Her resume includes positions as a technical writer, sales and marketing coordinator, and website designer. She carries a BA in English with a concentration in creative writing and has studied website design and development both inside and outside of academia.

Melissa also writes fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction and is the founder and editor of Writing Forward, an online publication that provides creative writing tips and ideas, as well as tools, techniques, and resources for better writing. She’s an animal welfare advocate who loves cheese, chocolate, and music. In her spare time, you can usually find her strumming on a guitar.
